about spike report

Introducing Spike Report, a spiking database to protect you and your mates on a night out. After recent incidents, we realised there was no viewable database on spikings in the UK. You can report an incident to the police, but you can’t view what others have reported.

With Spike Report, you can report a spiking incident but also view what others have submitted. Search by venue, city, or method of spiking. We’re all about giving you the info you need to have the safest night possible - including the date of the spiking so you know when it happened, where and how.

Don't rly remember much. Just that I didn't have enough to drink to feel as fucked as I did. Just remember being led at the bottom of Park Street and then waking up on my friend's sofa. Pupils are rly dilated and feel very spaced out. Looked for injection marks but found nothing so definitely something in my drink. Club wasn't even half full either.

Before the spiking I had been to a bottomless brunch with 11 friends. We were booked in at the Mex bar in Wakefield at 2pm-4pm. When we arrived they'd double booked so there was some faffing around to get us seated. Once we were seated around 2:35pm, we discussed that we would be staying until 4:35pm to get our 2 hours worth. I sat next to a friend who was having the same drink as me (pornstar Martini) and we both had 4 in the time we were seated for 2 hours. We had a pizza to eat. Once our 2 hours were up we stood up from our seated area and started discussing what to do or where to go next. We were waiting for a call from another friend that was meeting us so decided to stay where we were until she met us. She rang me at 5:10pm and said she was on her way. Just after she arrived a group of 5 men walked in and started talking to us. One of them kept slapping our bums and my friend who had just met us was getting really annoyed by it. On the CCTV I've seen, it looks like one of the men is standing close to the back of me for a while. Then he goes to the bar and keeps looking over in my direction. The next thing I remember was being sat on the toilet vomiting and not being able to move or speak. I had left my phone, bag, money, everything at the table and was sat on the toilet with the door wide open! Totally unlike me! This was around 6:10pm as I had missed calls from my friends. I remember my friends bursting in saying "she's here! Omg she looks dead, what on earth has happened" They started asking me questions but I just couldn't answer and kept vomiting. My friend went to alert bar staff and they came in and said I was the 4th girl in 3 weeks that was in that state. They phoned for an ambulance but they said it would be 2 hours so my friends rang my husband who came and got me. My husband and friend walked me to the car with an arm each and he took me to my mums house. He didn't want to drop me at A&E as there was Covid restrictions and my mum is a nurse so he thought she'd be best to keep an eye on me. Once I got to my mums I laid on the sofa all night, in and out of consciousness, vomiting on and off. My mum helped me out of my sick covered jeans and that's when we noticed the mark on the back of my leg that looked like a scrape from a needle with a pin prick at one end of it. The next morning, once I felt more human I rang 101 to report it. The police came that evening and took a urine sample and a statement. Then the next day I decided I should go to A&E as I was worried about the needle being a dirty one. They gave me the Hep B vaccine just in case then I had to go back to my GP for another 2 doses over the next 2 months. A police officer viewed the CCTV and rang to explain that they don't test urine until they have a suspect but they couldn't confirm anything or anyone from the CCTV and have closed my case. They suspected it would have been GHB and/or ketamine. I feel a lot more needs to be done regarding spiking. I haven't been out since and I dread the thought of it!

Myself and a friend were at Atik Gloucester at the beginning of December. Both got spiked via injection and didn't notice until the morning after. Luckily, we were with friends so made it home safe. Both of us have absolutely no recollection of the night. We went to the hospital the next morning and had blood tests and a hepatitis jab. I reported it to the police online and they came out and drug tested me to see if anything was still in my system which it was not. They came and took photos of my arm and opened up an investigation. The man who came to take photos told me that there were 6 OTHER reports of spiking via injection the same night in the same place😳. Police were going through CCTV from the club in February which was the last time either of us heard from them. Security getting into the club is also a joke. They started taking it more seriously after a few reports of spiking but it's now gone back to how it was. They occasionally pat down boys and just let girls go through.

Had one drink (first drink of the night). Half way down the drink, I lost feeling in my arms and legs, felt very dizzy and was having blackouts. I was then throwing up for the following 12 hours.

spiked by injection in my thigh only 10 mins after entering the club. felt it and told my friend who looked and saw the needle mark. collapsed approx 5 mins later on the dance floor and fell unconscious and couldn’t walk. was carried out by bouncers and my friends told them i was spiked by injection so they carried me into a “first aid room”. 2 “first aiders” who were just bouncers were shown my spike mark to which they dismissed me completely. told me i was “paranoid” and said the wound was old. gave me no actual medical attention or called for ambulance when i kept going unconscious and couldn’t even stand up or walk. carried me outside and left me on the pavement with my friends who didn’t know what to do. my family was never called (i’ve only just turned 19) nor was an ambulance. my friends had to carry me to their uni flat as i couldn’t walk and kept vomiting and falling unconscious. the club handled the whole thing awfully and have traumatised me. i ended up being taken to a&e by my dad in the morning to get medical attention and was given an injection to prevent disease from the needle. we have reported the incident to the police who are trying to get cctv footage as i think i know who did this to me- i also told the bouncers this and said they need to be searched in case they do it to someone else but they ignored me.

Upstairs of warehouse on mischief night. Black out the whole night, got kicked out of an Uber and someone had to carry me home even though I drank less than I usually do. The next day I was throwing up the whole time until 4pm and phoned 111 in the morning and they sent an ambulance to take me to A&E

Me and 5 of my friends went clubbing in pryzm where one of my friends had been spiked. Everything was fine until all of a sudden she started feeling dizzy, shutting her eyes and couldn’t speak. We went to the toilet where she was sick after we came out and went back to dance where a man approached her and said she doesn’t look to well and said she needed to get out of there. She said no and he kept talking to her. We then went into the other bigger room where he had followed us. None of us realised this until the next morning on videos on our phones and where we had realised she has been spiked as she had an injection on her back.

I had gone out that night only had 4 drinks as I was up early for work I knew myself I was not drunk but as soon as I left the bar I was on a happy buzz but put it down to the alcohol hitting me all at once. Within 30-40 mins of being injected I was unresponsive to other people had no control over the movement of my head my eyes were rolling back or closing no matter how hard I tried to open them, I was aware of what was going on around me but could not speak properly to let people know something did not feel right, again my eyes wouldn’t open no matter how hard I tried so could no communicate properly. I also could not walk without help and could not sit up straight. Other people including bouncers just thought I was drunk but when I got to hospital the nurse had found the puncture mark of the needle. I’m very lucky and grateful I had amazing friends that night that knew something was wrong and contacted my mam and sister to get me help.
