about spike report

Introducing Spike Report, a spiking database to protect you and your mates on a night out. After recent incidents, we realised there was no viewable database on spikings in the UK. You can report an incident to the police, but you can’t view what others have reported.

With Spike Report, you can report a spiking incident but also view what others have submitted. Search by venue, city, or method of spiking. We’re all about giving you the info you need to have the safest night possible - including the date of the spiking so you know when it happened, where and how.

I was in a crowd at Digga D’s performance, lost all my friends in the crowd so I was alone and then I felt a sharp needle in my back, but then everyone started jumping around again so I had no clue who did it. I started to feel out of it and dizzy, I also had very small pupils and felt nauseous.

I was in the smoking area with a guy I knew and another guy that I didn't. I handed one of them my drink while I looked away for a minute and then I took it back and drank it. According to my friends, I went missing for 30 minutes in the club, I have no recollection of where I was or what I was doing. I just remember one of them finding me and I was in rough shape - Out of nowhere my teeth were grinding, mouth foaming, vomiting, struggled to breathe. I felt violently ill. I called 111 the next day and they said they couldn't do anything and that was about it.

I witnessed someone that had been spiked in Mex Bar last night. She was passed out on the sofa, very very distressed and falling in and out of consciousness. The door staff and bar staff were crowded round her clearly not knowing what to do. I approached and said she’s obviously been spiked, she needs an ambulance. They replied saying that her husband says she hasn’t been spiked. I said she quite obviously has, so I’m going to ring 999. I rang the police and ambulance and emergency services said an ambulance was on its way. Whilst I was on the phone, door staff had carried the girl outside and tried to prop her up on a bench, which she kept falling off. I approached her and asked her for her name and if she thinks she’s been spiked, which she said yes because she’d only drank water in this venue and had been in about half an hour. She cried to her husband and said “let me call my mum” - it turns out he had confiscated her phone and wasn’t letting her call her Mum. I said to him what are you doing, if she wants to call her Mum then let her? He wasn’t remotely concerned about his wife, and didn’t want an ambulance to arrive. He was giving me very sketchy vibes and I think there was something wrong with their relationship. The night Marshall’s (who were just bouncers in a high vis) arrived and told me to leave, as they could handle it from here. I said I can’t leave because I’m in touch with the ambulance - they didn’t like this at all and the venue staff also clearly wanted me to leave. But I stayed for the safety of the girl. In the end, everyone was telling me to cancel the ambulance because the husband was taking her home. I refused to cancel it until I saw the girl had actually left the area - and unfortunately the Marshalls carried her unconscious body up the street for her husband to get her in a taxi and take her home. At this point I cancelled the ambulance, not being able to do anything more for the girl. I’m really upset that I couldn’t do anything more and that she went home to a potentially dangerous situation, even the door staff said there was something fishy about him. The venue, door staff and Marshall’s all responded appallingly.

It was the first night out in town since having my son & I was having a great time with my best friend. I remember what I had to drink and never left my drink unattended! It was with me the whole night. I remember briefly messaging my husband to come get me about quarter to 1 in the morning, as well as my mate ringing my husband to come get Tammie. Next I got told I was unconscious outside on a chair with a bouncer looking after me while waiting for my husband. My husband said he was pretty much dragging a lifeless body up the road to the car, he then told me they took me home because he thought I might have just needed to be sick and go to bed. He then said he put my head under the kitchen tap to try wake me up but in fact I wasn’t responsive. My husband was keeping me alive by giving me CPR. Police and ambulance turned up to perform CPR and they had to cut my dress off because I kept stopping breathing. They put the defibrillator on ready but the machine said stick with CPR. They took me to hospital, and my mother and husband demanded a blood test which the ambulance said the hospital will do that. The hospital did not do any sort of testing on me, I wasn’t allowed anyone in the hospital with me and I was in a vulnerable state. Came 6am on Sunday morning and a male doctor came up to me and said you’ve 100% been spiked and you're free to go home. Next day my mother in law rang the hospital (Lancaster Royal Infirmary) and asked why I wasn’t tested and they said I ( Tammie ) personally had to ask myself to get tested! I wasn’t in any state to ask as I don’t remember a thing!! Please please girls be careful when going out. I almost lost my life if it wasn’t for my husband James coming to get me.

I remember the night fully until a group of lads invited me and my friend to the table they were sat at. They offered us a drink from the table - they had a bucket with a bottle of spirits in it. My mate declined but they kept asking and asking her. I took up the offer and had one drink and after that I remember nothing. According to someone I knew who worked there I was ‘too drunk’ and needed to go home but then the next day it was said that I looked like I was spiked. According to my friend I was taken out of the club by a security guard, where I was grabbed by the arm and shoved in front and fell down the stairs. The security team have no care for people who seem to be under the influence badly or even spiked. After leaving the club my friend decided it would be best to try and get some food where I apparently blacked out on a bench and the security guard from the shop had to come and help. Someone called a taxi for me and my friend and I apparently was dribbling and about to throw up. Even my friends said this was extremely out of character for me and I haven’t gone back to that place since.

I had 3 drinks in the hotel pub. I then went for a drink in Albert's Shed with some friends - after one larger, I was paralytic. I was very confused and got on 5 different trains to try to get home which is one train/stop away. No-one touched my beer after I paid for it. Another person I was out with had a similar incident but woke up with a black eye and blood all over their clothes.

I was left by my partner and 2 friends to mind our table whilst they used the toilet, which felt like forever. There were 2 men watching me from the table to my right (I can remember them clear as day), and one came over and was messing about on my table. He said he was finding a spare glass ,which now I think is weird because you would just go the bar (it was literally 30 steps away). The next thing I remember was being taken out of the club by my partner and 2 bouncers. They said I appear to have been spiked and that I had to leave because they couldn’t get me an ambulance, and the police told them to get me a taxi. This seems like a load of bullshit now that I’m better because the police or ambulance would never leave a vulnerable person who had been spiked the way I had. It's a good job my boyfriend got me back to our hotel safety and didn't leave me to get back on my own because I was tripping so bad, and apparently I tried to climb out of our 5th floor hotel window because I thought I was going out the door. Terrifying! I've talked to other people and apparently this club is known for LSD spiking. I wish I knew before I attended.

I had a couple drinks, I wasn't paying close enough attention to my cup. I started feeling light headed and dizzy so I went to the bathroom. Immediately as I got into the stall I felt suddenly very very drunk and fatigued. I was able to leave and alert my mom who was with me and we left.

After getting a drink in the club my last full memory was telling my friend I felt weird. She told me a few minutes later I was suddenly unable to stand so called over some other friends to help. They took me to the bathroom where I threw up but felt completely paralysed so they had to hold me up. They then took me outside where the bouncers seemed to have noticed I’d been spiked given my state and they were helpful, giving me a chair to sit on and bringing me cups of water. I can’t remember anything with clarity but I can vividly remember lying down and having no control of any of my muscles. I was taken home by a friend but continued to throw up and retch for several hours before finally falling asleep. Those who were with me said it was evident I'd been spiked, not only from the loss of muscle control, but that within such a small 10-15 minute window I had suddenly gone from being energetic and chatty to being unable to stand or speak.

Another girl and I were on our own together in Grey's Club, we walked around the place a lot during the night, trying to find our group. It was difficult because we had very short term memory. Something would happen and within seconds we would forget. We had people coming up to us asking us things that had happened during the night and we had no idea. Complete amnesia. We still can't remember the night to this day. It was awful and we felt ill for around 3 days after, whatever the spike was, it was a massive shock to our systems

I went to the bar with this guy I met in the queue and accepted a drink off him. I left him soon after to meet my friends as he became clingy and weird. After about half an hour I started to feel extremely nauseous and had blurred vision. I only had about 4 drinks before that one so I knew something was off. I went to the toilet and passed out. I came round after some time and made myself sick to try and get some of it out my system. I'm not sure how long we were in the toilet but I was helped out of the venue by my friends and we got a taxi. I still felt nauseous two days later.

Daughter came home from a night out had been to the theatre and a meal with very little to drink, felt tired came home and went straight to bed. She was with her boyfriend all night, he noticed a bruise on her arm in the morning came down stairs and ended up in A & E the next day where they confirmed spike site in arm, police viewed cctv nothing on their camera apparently however only 30ish people in the club no one had really been checked going in. Bag check for women, quick pat down for men never looked what a man had in pockets told to hold in hands out, hands never searched, my daughter was sick and weak for next 2 days each day got better doctors run blood tests to make sure the needle which also confirmed a bcg needle injection that's normally used for tb injections had been used to spike her, bloods came back with no sign of infection thankfully the police were amazing.

Unsure if the woman was spiked or if it was a drug interaction, but the venue's lack of response means it's unsafe regardless. Young woman out with someone she barely knew, after a few drinks became unable to talk, walk or even hold her head up. Venue tried to throw her out at the end of the show. Myself and another customer had to take her to the loos to check if she was safe with the gentleman she came with, then practically carry her out of the venue to a taxi. The staff there made it clear they didn't care and just wanted her out by any means. Made a complaint but their management team don't appear to care either. Unsafe venue for women.

I was out for a work meal with friends and having some drinks. I remember everything clearly up until I went to cuckoo. One of the last things I remember is being in this venue. I don’t remember being put in a taxi, the car ride itself. i then got chucked out of the taxi near my house, my phone had been stolen and i couldn’t physically walk. I took my shoes off and left them there and I don’t remember how I got home. Our cctv showed it was a good samaritan who must have picked me up but I don’t remember who it was and I have been ill and sick many times for over two days now. i believe i was spiked in this venue by drink because of the memory loss and being unable to walk

I was out with my friends, and as a normally very vigilant it’s the one time I put my drink down and turned away to dance. The venue is more of a pub/bar than a club. I remember fragments and some of it is hazy, but I remember having this sudden sensation of “I’ve been spiked” something was wrong, I needed air and space so I went uostairs to the bathroom. I left and collapsed by the bannister, struggling to breathe. I was hyperventilating, my brain and thoughts felt very scattered and I was struggling to even think. I then have a blank in my memory, and the next thing I remember is waking up outside the venue, lying on the ground with a street ranger and my friends around me. A housemate who wasn’t with us hadn’t drank that night so was able to collect me, but I was very mixed in temperatures, flitting between hot and cold. I always drink water after a night out, but my friends tell me I refused to. One friend dragged their mattress upstairs and stayed with me overnight as I was so upset. I struggled to sleep, struggling with temperature and when I did finally wake up I was really really cold, shivering a lot etc. Following the whole incident, I called my mum who drove across the country and went with me to the hospital for a test. They refused and said that they didn’t do them there (despite us having phoned up 111, who directed us to the hospital). We then contacted the police who said that they couldn’t provide a test either and that without such a test it would be tricky to get a conviction. We asked if there was anywhere we could go privately, willing to pay for a test if it could get the conviction and the perpetrator could be stopped. The police actively dissuaded us from doing so, stating that there would be a lot of CCTV to go through so it was unlikely anything would be found. This is despite my friends and I having created a very coherent timeframe of the entire night, knowing exactly where the drink was placed and narrowing it down to a 20 minute window. I asked whether I could look through it and the police said that if I contacted the venue, I would be allowed to view it under GDPR. My mother and I then went to the venue, we were told to return in two days when the manger would be in. My mum had to go home, and two days later I went with my friends instead and the manager point-blank refused to let me see the footage unless I had a policeman with me, despite my being in the footage. I can’t remember the timeline here, but I was later left a voicemail by the police saying that they were not persuing it further.

I left my drink on the small table to go outside for a fag. I’ve been going to reflex for ages and never had anything bad happen when leaving my drink on the side. You have to or the security tell you to go back inside with it. I had a pint and a single Malibu drink before this particular one. I finished my drink and within 30 minutes I was feeling sick and dizzy with my head in the toilet. I had passed out for around an hour/ an hour and a half when someone found me in the toilet. I was unable to speak or stand up properly. I was freezing cold and couldn’t find any of my friends as they thought I went home. I ended up finding my boyfriend and was felt horrific the next day as well. Worst experience of my life. I’m very careful when going outside now. I’ll either finish my drink or ask a friend who doesn’t smoke to wait with the drinks.

My two friends popped their drinks down for 2 minutes and one of them spotted a short light haired guy pouring a powder into our drinks. We confronted him, he told us it was an accident. We took the drinks to the bar and asked for a kit to test for drugs, they didn’t have one and told security, who held the man in the club until the police came about 20 minutes later. We gave statements and were kept updated. Our drinks tested positive for drugs when the police tested them. He was also seen on CCTV. They released him Sunday morning due to being unable to 100% confirm it was him on CCTV so he’s on bail until the forensics come back with clothing and drug swabs.

Went to Queen's Court and Fibre, ordered one drink and a shot in Queens Court, then had one drink at Fibre. All of a sudden my friend started being violently sick, was incontinent, went limp, was drifting in and out of consciousness. Luckily the staff at Fibre were so nice, the bouncers took my friend into the back area and looked after her, they gave her wager and foil blankets to keep warm and phoned an ambulance. Unfortunately I couldn't get her to A and E by myself as I couldn't carry her, and no taxis would take her. One of the bouncers actually drove us to A and E himself which was so helpful. The next day my friend noticed a scratch and a pin prick mark on the inside of her arm. We'd been so careful with our drinks that night and not spoken to or danced with any guys so I think someone had brushed past her and injected her.

I only had 4 drinks so when I started throwing up foam I knew I had been spiked. I think I was injected due to two small injection looking marks on my arm. I was fine at 1:15am but by 2am I was in the toilets uncontrollably throwing up. My speech was very slurred and I felt very out of breath from just sitting on the floor. There was a female bouncer who came into the toilets and helped my friend carry me out of the club. She carried me out the back way so no one had to see the state I was in. Once we were in outside, I sat on the floor as I started throwing up again. By this point, I couldn’t even hold my head up, I couldn’t see as everything was a blurr and then I started throwing up foam. I was in and out of it, I didn’t know what was going on. I was throwing up a lot of foam. Luckily, my friend did not leave my side for a second so I got home safely.
