It was terrible, I woke up in the security room. Baring in mind I had only had 2 very light drinks and I am usually very good with alcohol and had eaten and drank plenty of water before hand. I was treated appallingly by the security. They were so harsh and non empathetic towards me and then just sent me out. Telling me I was asleep in the bathrooms. I was very scared and as a result of this occurrence I would never come to this club again and would also never recommend it to anyone! I was unsure of what I had been spiked by but I know my body and this was a horrible experience. I didn’t report the incident as I believe these kinds of incidents get brushed under the rug and therefore I believe lots of women/men go through this kind of thing and don’t feel brave enough to speak about due to it not being a major issue in the limelight of society. During the time when people were injecting people in clubs I didn’t go to a club for a whole year out of fear.

He was insisting I do these very strong Mexican tequila shots. I didn’t want to. I had planned on having one alcoholic drink I didn’t know him & I was getting weird vibes. I went to the loo mid way through dinner. It took a while there was a queue & it was a long way from the table. When I came back I swallowed the rest of my drink as I was keen to leave quickly. My throat started burning my head felt hot. I just stared in disbelief I said “ did you spike my drink” he tried to shush me. I said it again. Then said he just wanted me to try it. He’d ordered two shots & poured them in my drink. I was just shocked & scared I didn’t know if there was anything else in there.

felt very dizzy, was in and out of consciousness, non stop vomiting, the bouncers did nothing to help but thankfully my mates rung an ambulance for me, i couldn’t remember much that happened that night, I didn’t even drink a lot as well.

I was on a night out with my friends on Leeds and felt tired then I was in my walk home and I passed out and I did not wake up till the next morning and felt like rubbish the next day so I was sleeping all day then I woke up and went to work I felt like rubbish again and my arm was hurting I had a look when I got home and they was a bruise and what looked like a needle mark so I rang the doctor and got checked over and told to ring 101 and had to go get my bloods and a injection feeling a lot better now I am just now terrified go out ever again and just want to spread awareness because it could of been a lot worse for my I’m lucky

I can't recall the events entirely but I remember blacking out not long after buying a cocktail from the bar. I didn't see who did it or what happened exactly, so I can't be sure of every detail. From what I can remember, we picked a song to play on karaoke, then moments later I blacked out and woke up in the hospital at one in the morning.

I was out for two hours drank two jager bombs and two double spirits, don’t remember a lot, I’ve been told my eyes were rolling to the back of my head and I couldn’t get my words out and was obssesed with lights.

I remember everything very clearly during my night out, up until going to the bar for a second time paying for drinks, as my friends card declined. The next thing I remember is lying on a bathroom floor seeing my bag, trying to reach for it but unable to move. Second thing I remember is a bouncer telling me that I needed to contact someone (I checked my call history the next day and could see I’d been struggling to contact the person I wanted to, having called names with a similar starting letter to his). I then remember my friend coming and telling my other friend ‘why weren’t you with her’ (I must have ran to the bathroom to spew, to have not been with her). Fortunately the next thing I remember is waking up safe but in a panic from having not been able to remember anything other than these snippets. I had to travel back home to my town the next day and also did not stop being sick all day. Two days after, I decided to go to A&E where they checked my oxygen levels etc and had me speak to a safe guarding officer, however they could not test my blood for drugs which I would have liked for clarification. Although, I have been told it is unlikely that 4 double vodkas (which is what I had drank) would cause blackouts. I also had black tar/ coal looking stuff in my sick. I did tell the police however they would be unable to report it without evidence of drugs in my system which would have to be done by a medical professional within 12 hours so I am still a little disappointed I hadn’t gone sooner or on the evening to a hospital. This will probably play on my mind for a while bc I obviously could have died or picked up outside by someone pretending they knew who I was.

Out with boyfriend and our friends. Me and a girl was sharing a sharer drink when suddenly we both blacked out. Boyfriends managed to get us in a friends car and get us home at home we both acted unusual and not making much sense.

Our with friends, 2/3 drinks on table, mine had white floaty bits in top of drink, reported to bar staff, they confirmed it had drug substances in the drink.

This happened during my first year at uni, I was so scared to share as my friends kept telling me that I just got too drunk and hadn't eaten but I drink quite often and know how my body responds to different alcohols. Q Bar changes ownership every couple of months and I swear it goes from one dodgy owner to another. I see creepy dudes in there all the time and the bouncers are so scary and intimidating. It puts you off going to tell them. There was a guy who wouldn't leave me alone and kept trying to pull me away from my friends and wouldn't get the hint, the bouncers didn't care, and neither did the bar staff. I told him I would let him buy me a drink if he left me alone. I haven't let a guy buy a drink since. I started to pass out and my friends took me home, they put me in the bath and I woke up in 2 inches of vomit. I have never felt such pain, like I've been poisoned. I haven't met a lot of people who have been spiked since I moved away from Plymouth, but this happened so often in Plymouth that it became a normal part of daily conversation. That needs to change.

strange male trying to join our group, offered to buy several of us drinks and we all declined. Continued to linger around the edge of the group, shortly after going to the toilet and him following me I began to act completely out of character, became volatile, had been isolated by a male during this time and from that point was shouting “he tried to touch me” (unsure if this was same male). Ended the night in hospital after being kicked in the head by a passing man (asked him to leave me alone and got a kick to the temple for my trouble) but then friends had to take me home without treatment because police threatened to arrest me despite them being told several times that I had been spiked and physically assaulted on the street.

I was celebrating my friends 21st when I got spiked. 1 minute I was dancing and having a great night. The next minute I'd collapsed in the toilets. My friend found me and took me outside with a glass of water. I then sat nort really lucid and shaking. I got home and was shaking and sweating. My mum kept me sat up the entire night and slept by my side to make sure i was fine. I can't imagine what could have happened. I was one of the lucky ones

My family and I went to Kennedys to celebrate the new year. My cousin witnessed a man spike one of our drinks we had at our table. This man was also trying to talk to us throughout the night and made comments that made us feel uncomfortable. For example, he randomly came up to me and said “looks like I’m spending my new year with you then, doesn’t it?” But in a sinister, chilling way. There was two of them. One, who was within the dance floor area (where we were having a dance) and leaving weird comments. And his friend who continued to linger around our table. My cousin reported this to a FEMALE door member who took my cousin outside to the other (male) door staff. After a few minutes, we noticed my cousin hadn’t returned, so went to see where she was. The door staff then told us they had banned her from the bar. They had shown pictures they took of her on WhatsApp and threatened to send these to other bars so she couldn’t get access anywhere else if we caused any confrontation. I tried to talk to the bouncers, I didn’t raise my voice or try to cause an argument, I just wanted to understand why they had done what they had done. They had no reason, he said “I don’t need to give you a reason, like I said, I will send pictures of your cousin to all the other bouncers in york so they refuse to let you in”. Let me put that bluntly- WE WERE KICKED OUT BECAUSE WE REPORTED THAT SOMEONE HAD SPIKED OUR DRINK. We went elsewhere to spend the rest of our night but my cousin was in tears, she felt so unsafe.

I don't remember anything but from what I've been told there was a guy that was following me and trying to dance with me all night, he was buying me drinks and I started to act like I was really drunk, he was asking me to take me home for 20 mins and then bring me back, I then was becoming more and more unsteady on my feet, my friends had to hold me up, then they said I started to struggle to get my words out so they look me to sit down, then I became even worse and more worrying so they alerted the bouncers, they then contacted my sister to come and collect me and ended up having to put me in a wheelchair to take me into my sisters car so I could go home. It took 3 people to get me out the car and up stairs and when I woke up in the morning I had absolutely no idea what had happened. I then had the worst hangover ever, I was freezing cold, shaking, headache, body aches and nauseous all the next day, it took me over 24hrs to feel well enough to even be able to take a shower.

Man stood in close proximity to myself for a good 10 minutes without moving. All of a sudden I seen him throw something at me and it went into my drink and was clearly a pill. I confronted the guy and he laughed and walked off. 3 members of staff and security were told on the night and nothing was done we had to leave because of this. This was reported to the manager over instagram the following day and I gave very detailed timelines and descriptions of who I spoke to and where I was. Staff denied this was reported and doorman lied and said the individual left the building. This isn't true as we saw the person head in the smoking area. As we left the doorman was just stood outside the front. I was told by manager that they would review the CCTV and get back to me. Over a week later I was chasing up as I was being ignored. I then started leaving reviews and then they replied to say no CCTV footage to show this happened and doorman told them the bloke had left which was not true.

Male went from being a typical jolly drunk to almost unconscious and paralysed from waist down during a brief car ride home. He ended up in A&E being treated for hypothermia and dehydration. He would have collapsed if walking home and most likely would have passed away from choking and/or hypothermia.

I had only 3 drinks all night. The bar was extremely crowded. After my third drink, I began to be very confused, time was warped etc. I woke up with big memory black outs and 2 of my friends have also suspected that they were spiked.

Went out for NYE and after an hour I suddenly couldn't stand or see. Immediately felt dizzy, sick, and disorientated. Was luckily taken home by my partner but couldn't move for an hour.

I’m not really sure what happened but one minute I was fine and the next I couldn’t see, my eyes were rolling to the back of my head and I couldn’t walk or talk.

I was at the bar with my friends and this boy kept pestering me to buy me a drink. I knew the guy who was behind the bar ( my friends link at the time ) and he was already providing us with free drinks. I told the boy “ I’m good thanks “ he didn’t stop there. He continued to pester me until my drink I originally had spilled and then he said “ ahhh see I’ve dropped your drink let me buy you one “ again, I said “ I’m good thanks “ he would not leave me alone. I kept ignoring him. Moments later he literally came back over and left the cup by me telling me he brought me a drink. Thinking about it now, the cup was literally overflowing with alcohol and the venue we were at didn’t serve drinks to the top of the cup. My friends and I started to converse and I gave in ( I know right, so silly) I had a sip and was like woah… this is way too strong for me! So my friend tried ( who also felt the affect ) and said the same thing! We didn’t even finish the drink as it was too strong. I literally remember my self walking towards the bathroom.. I fell into the sink and just felt my body fly… I was being lifted out of the venue as I was unresponsive, I couldn’t sit up or communicate with my friends or the people who were trying to help me.

I was at a works Christmas party and other companies were there at the hotel bar and room provided. I had had half a bottle of wine which normally I can handle and was having a great time and then out of no where I am unable to stand, I fell over and needed people to pick me up, I was vomiting and couldn’t lift my head off the toilet. I also can’t remember anything that happened and all of this was told by a friend who was with me at the time. I put my drink down on the bar when I was talking to friends and I assume this is when it happened. The next day I was so confused, dizzy and sick.

I felt a pinch to the back of my left forearm. I then proceeded to get incredibly drunk. Unable to walk without assistance from my boyfriend and I was taken home. I have then looked the following Sunday 27th and I have a circle shaped bruise with what looks like an injection mark.

I was fine when I went in, had quarter of a cocktail that I had been holding all the time, then felt really drunk and was sick loads

I was at Bodega bar with two of my friends drinking and just talking, when one of my friends said she was feeling really dizzy and not good so we took her to the bathroom and she said she doesn’t think it was the alcohol since she had one or two drinks that night. We asked if it she took any meds that could be affecting the alcohol and she said no, so we came to the conclusion she was spiked. We took her to the ER just to make sure it wasn’t alcohol poisoning and they confirmed she was roofied. We aren’t sure how it happened and thought we’d been careful but I guess we weren’t :(

From approximately midnight, I have no recollection of the following 3 hours. I have a puncture wound / bruise. I felt feverish, confused and dizzy the next day
